The Whisperer A void of silence grows a wild sense of despair memories from a wistful dawn of a fighter’s path a voice far gone just when I am in most urgent need I am Speak to me once more Death is not to be feared. Losing myself to their wish, then again I mostly dread The Lord’s deeds are His mysterious will and only in his mind lies the finished painting of our lives The whence and whithers of our being Our wits greatly exceed They believed me wise I’m now said to be me mad Laurel wreaths awarded to every man I’m led to blaze by their cruelty nonetheless Speak to me once more Death is not to be feared. Losing myself to their wish, then again I mostly dread Death I fear not Vengeance shall not bring peace Death I fear not Vengeance shan’t, never shall bring peace

about

We women have been put aside for so long. Not so many years ago we weren’t even considered citizens. Now here we are breaking barries everyday, though there are countless barriers yet to break. Joan of Arc was a great inspiration for me as a child. Watching one of Joan of Arc’s movies I saw a woman holding a sword and taking a nation into war and victory for their freedom, and honestly that was mindblowing. Then, this woman was suddenly tied into a pire and set on fire for simply being who she was. And now, hundreds of years after here we are being set on fire sometimes literally, sometimes figuratively… Yet, we keep on doing formerly forbidden things, pushing the boundaries further and further for the world to be a place where all can be equals and things more fair.

We girls’ve been put aside for so long; 100 years ago we weren’t even citizens! Now we’re breaking barries, though there’s much yet to break. Seeing Joan of Arc’s movie I saw a woman holding a sword and taking a nation into war for their freedom (mindblowing). Then, she was suddenly tied and burnt for being who she was. Hundreds of years after we’re still being set on fire literally and figuratively. Yet, we keep on pushing the boundaries further for the world to be a more equal and fair place.
